50 years of craft

In 2017, Afroart celebrated 50 years. We invited Cilla Ramnek, a swedish artist, to interpret Afroart. The result was three completely different scenographies that were presented in our stores in the summer of 2017. Hope you will be as inspired as we became!

A World of Craft, previously Afroart, was founded in 1967. Since then, we have joined forces with artisans across Africa, Asia and Latin America, to promote and develop traditional crafts. 

Our goal is to support fair trade practices and create new job opportunities in regions where craftsmanship plays a crucial role in the livelihoods of local people.
