The dyeing technique involves the fabric being folded and clamped between wooden blocks before it is dyed. The fabric length that is dyed is a maximum of 5 meters and the thickness of the pattern varies slightly depending on how the fabric was folded. For multi-colored fabrics, the procedure needs to be repeated for each color.
