MINIBOLGA TRIANGLE Basket, natural/dark blue

This tiny "Bolga basket" is the baby variant of the traditional shopping basket. This one too has a leather handle.

These baskets are made in the Bolgatanga area in northern Ghana. Most of the producers are women and the basket weaving helps to support them. The so called elephant grass that is used grows on the hillsides along the rivers.
